Orders for 30 October
Fruit & Veggies
There are 706 orders from 21 of the 22 CSFVC distribution centres for fruit and veggies.
All of the orders were submitted via the new on-line shop on TradeGecko. The orders were processed by Co-op Shop Managers Adrienne & Laurell.
A purchase order generated by TradeGecko was then emailed to Craig Dixon, the buyer for the co-ops in Christchurch.

Free dental visit
A very generous offer has been made to CSFVC by a Christchurch dental surgery.
35 free appointments are being offered of a free dental visit for adults.
Appointments are between 1pm-5pm on Saturday 9 November in St Albans. An appointment card will be posted out to the patient by the dental surgery.
The patient is to be a member of CSFVC and be nominated by their distribution centre co-ordinator.
1 or 2 forms were issued yesterday to each distribution centre based on the number of members and are to be filled in legibly and returned to the packing centre next Wednesday October 30. The completed forms will then be dropped off to the dental surgery for them to process.

Truck now picks up empty crates
Truck driver Ricky from Canterbury Freight now comes every Wednesday to
pickup the pallets and empty crates from the CSFVC packing centre to
return them for a credit. At the moment it is around 12.30pm but it is
hoped it may be possible in future to be at 11am so someone from the co-op can be around
to sign the returns docket.

Not as much in terms of bulk but some new seasonal items (asparagus and tomato)
Booked in some broccoli for next week. Has been very expensive of late but doing a deal with a grower.
