For Delivery 28th Sept 2016
Weather’s dull and dreary so we’ve included a wee hint of Christmas in today’s packs.
Pomegranates are an amazing fruit. They are among the healthiest fruits on earth and contain a range of beneficial plant compounds, unrivalled by other foods.
They’ll last well in your fruit bowl just in case you’d rather look at the fruit (actually, they’re classified as a berry rather than eat it.
To eat, break away the flesh, (can be a bit tricky and messy too) then pick out the ‘seeds’ and either eat there and then, or add to a green salad, fruit salad, muesli or whatever!. They’re incredibly versatile.
So….the full list of goodies for tomorrow is:
Cauliflower - 38 crates of 10 count
Shanghai - 26 crates of 7.5kg
Celery - 24 crates of 16 count
Onions - 10 crates of 20kg
Bananas - 21 boxes of 18 kg loose
Apples (actually Jazz but marked as Braeburn) - 27 crates of 14kg
Carrots (loose) - 17 crates of 14kg
Kiwi Gold - 48 boxes of 6kg
Pomegranate - 21 boxes of 30 count (totals 630 but there are a good number that will need to be discarded. So please check and sort carefully. I’ve calculated on a one third loss)
Cheers for now
